Who do you think got the number one spot? Peyton Manning has been considered the best quarterback in the NFL for a number of years. Will he win a record fourth MVP award? Tom Brady came in at second. Many Brady fans are wondering if he will reprise the same success he had in 2007 in the beginning of 2009 or will it take a while for the three time Super Bowl winner to shed some rust? Drew Brews takes the third spot in USA Today’s rankings. The New Orleans Saints’ quarterback “is hoping for a more prolific defense so he can march back to playoffs.” Aaron Rodgers came in next, and will continue to prove to Packers’ fans that they were right to sever ties with Brett Favre when they did. Kurt Warner comes in at number five. If his hip holds up fine this season, Warner should have another MVP-caliber year. Donovan McNabb follows Warner. Will McNabb have a stellar year, especially since he has more weapons or will newly acquired Michael Vick hinder the starting QB’s performance. Ben Roethlisberger is the seventh best quarterback in the league and Philip Rivers takes the eighth spot. Rivers doesn’t have the hardware just yet, but his stats are better than his 2004 draft mates Eli Manning and Roethlisberger.
